At SEND Protect, we are a community-led CIC committed to providing free support and free education to families navigating the world of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Founded by two mothers, Cara Roughani and Lisa Chauhan, our work is built on both professional expertise and lived experience. Cara’s journey was the core reason this all started! She has over 20 years of experience in finance. After struggling to find reliable, SEND-specific financial guidance while raising her son with Autism and additional needs, she turned her expertise into a mission. That experience inspired her to build a trusted space for other families facing the same challenges.
